  13. I have several Hayes Optima 288 Modems which I want to access via
  14. Hayes Autosync. Now, whenever I sent a data packet to the modem, it
  15. aborts the packet to be received. The Paper describes such a behaviour
  16. for Express96. But I never switched explicitly to this mode of
  17. operation because there is no description of it or what it does.
  18. So, what is Express96? Or, what could I have done to switch to switch
  19. it on?
